🍄 Strain: Hillbilly 🍄 Average Strength.

Hillbilly (p. cubensis) is one of the rare strains with a deeply-rooted American origin story. The strain was discovered in the hills of Arkansas by a mycopia user named “The Hillbilly” and has been spread across the deep south ever since. It is one of the few strains that represents the American south-lands, and its name is meant to tease at a natural tradition/rural way of living in those areas.

The Hillbilly Psilocybe cubensis strain has been circulating the spore market since the late 90s. Over the years, it fell out of the limelight, overshadowed by more potent strains. However, it recently regained recognition when it claimed a spot in the Spring 2022 Psilocybin Cup as a “Microdose Champion.”

Dosage Guidelines:

• Microdose (0.1 to 0.4 grams): Typically used for subtle effects, microdosing aims to enhance mood, creativity, and overall well-being without significant alterations in perception. Users often adopt a schedule, taking microdoses every few days to minimize the risk of tolerance buildup and maintain the desired benefits.
• Low Dose (0.5 to 1.0 grams): At this level, users may experience mild effects, such as slight changes in perception, mood enhancement, and a general sense of relaxation. This dose is suitable for those who want to explore the effects of psilocybin without overwhelming intensity.
• Moderate Dose (1.0 to 2.5 grams): A moderate dose leads to more noticeable effects, including visual distortions, altered thought patterns, and an increased sense of euphoria. This range is ideal for those seeking a deeper, more immersive experience, but it's important to approach it with caution and awareness.
• High Dose (2.5 to 5.0 grams): This dosage can induce strong effects, including intense visual and auditory hallucinations, profound changes in perception, and deep emotional insights. It is recommended only for individuals with prior experience, as the intensity can be overwhelming for newcomers.
• Very High Dose (5.0 grams and above): Taking a very high dose can lead to profound alterations in consciousness, including dissociative experiences and a sense of unity with the universe. Tripping Guidelines:

As psychedelics with the ability to heal the mind and spirit, magic mushrooms need to be treated with respect and refrain from abusing the power they possess. Always be responsible. Here are some useful tips when tripping on shrooms.

• If you’re tripping for the first time, it’s best to have a trip sitter nearby. A trip sitter will remain sober and watch over you to help out in the event of an emergency.
• Start on a smaller dose "baby steps." Level 1 - 6. Do not exceed the recommended dose. A two-day tolerance break is recommended between trips.
• Set & Setting: Quite simply, the “set” is your mindset and the “setting” is your surroundings. Making sure that you’re in the right frame of mind, with the right people, and in a good environment can literally make or break your trip. Taking the set and setting into consideration can drastically increase the probability of having a good experience.
• Recommended to have on an empty stomach.
• Don’t mix shrooms with any other substances even if you are an experienced tripper. Especially alcohol and highly caffeinated drinks.
• Drink a lot of water after the trip to help flush the psilocybin out of your system and to be able to return to your day-to-day self much quicker.
